I-80 in Nebraska reopened after blizzard conditions caused closures
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Interstate 80 in Nebraska was reopened Tuesday after blizzard conditions caused closures.
I-80 was initially shut down Sunday night from Lexington to Ogallala. The closure was later extended to Kearney due to poor traveling conditions.
Around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Nebraska State Patrol announced that I-80 was entirely reopened.
State officials said drivers should turn off cruise control and reduce speeds as some roads may still be snow-packed or icy.
