More than 5,700 people in Lincoln without power as storm rolls through
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Electric System’s website shows as many as 5,700 customers are without power during severe storms Saturday night.
The largest affected area is near the intersection of Interstate 80 and Highway 34 in north Lincoln.
Strong thunderstorms and gusting winds reaching nearly 70 miles per hour rolled through the area.
LES was not able to confirm if the outages were caused by the storms.
