Council Bluffs native Thomas Fidone committed to Nebraska during a live television broadcast on Wednesday.
As a junior at Lewis Central High School, Fidone had 39 catches for 576 receiving yards to go along with seven touchdown catches last season. The 6-5, 225-pound prospect is a consensus four-star recruit and the No. 2 tight end in the country according to Rivals.
Fidone had offers from virtually every Power-5 school in the country. He made his choice between Michigan, LSU, Iowa and the Huskers.
