Teens face multiple charges, $1M bonds after shooting that injured LPD officer
A judge on Thursday set bond at $1 million for two teenagers connected to a shooting that left a Lincoln police officer in critical condition.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A judge on Thursday set bond at $1 million for two teenagers connected to a shooting that left a Lincoln police officer in critical condition.
Orion Ross, 19, and Felipe Vasquez, 17, face multiple charges including escape using deadly force and assault.
The shooting occurred late Wednesday morning as a law enforcement task force attempted to serve a warrant to Vasquez in connection to a recent homicide case.
The officer, who has not been publicly identified, was in critical condition and “fighting for his life” as of Thursday morning, according to police.
Vasquez also faces a charge of possession of a stolen firearm.
LPD is providing an update on the shooting at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
