Lots of 70s and storm chances
Highs for the next few days will be near 70 degrees, then we warm up into the middle and upper 70s Friday and into the weekend. Storm chances really increase Thursday into Friday.
Tuesday is going to start off fairly mild with lows near 50 early in the morning.
It’ll be a little cooler in the Tri-Cities early Tuesday and a little warmer in and around Lincoln.
Highs will make it into the upper 60s and lower 70s Tuesday afternoon. That’s a few degrees above average.
It will be a little windy, though. Wind gusts will be pushing 30 mph by the afternoon.
Most of Tuesday and all of Wednesday will be dry, but a good chance for storms starts to move in Thursday into Friday.
The best chance for severe weather on Thursday will be from south central Nebraska into Kansas, OK, and Texas.
On Friday, the threat pushes further north and east. Timing is still being worked out, but early models have more of a morning event in Nebraska.
