LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln man was sentenced Friday for conspiracy to distribute meth.

U.S. District Judge John Gerrard sentenced John Rice, 35, to 6½ years in prison with a five-year term of supervised release.

From May 2020 to December 2021, Rice conspired with at least two other people to deal meth in Nebraska.

During that time, Rice purchased and distributed more than 500 grams of meth, authorities said.
