Man accused of DUI in crash with western Nebraska house

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Scottsbluff man was arrested Saturday after crashing into a house, police say.
Around 9:30 p.m., 60-year-old Braulio Cruz was heading west when he went through a stop sign at 11th Avenue.
The vehicle then left the road, drove through a fence and into a home, according to police.
People were inside, but no one was injured. The house had “significant” damage, and the vehicle was totaled, police said.
Cruz and a passenger were treated at the scene with minor injuries.
Officers arrested Cruz on suspicion of DUI, willful reckless driving, stop sign violation and no proof of insurance.
