Man killed in crash with southeast Lincoln house is identified

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The man who died after crashing into a southeast Lincoln house Tuesday has been identified.

Police said 30-year-old Levi Bowman rear-ended a northbound car near 56th Street and Pioneers Boulevard around 2 p.m.

Bowman lost control, went off the road and rolled into a house at 56th and Cooper Avenue, according to police.

Police said Bowman was thrown from the pickup.  He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

The crash shut down a part of 56th Street for several hours.
