UCLA forward Berke Buyuktuncel signs with Nebraska basketball

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska men’s basketball is adding a 6-foot-9 forward from Turkey to its roster next season.

Berke Buyuktuncel — who spent his freshman year at UCLA — signed Wednesday with the Huskers.

Buyuktuncel played in 26 games last season, averaging 4.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

He has three years of eligibility left.

Big time addition for the Big Red.

Nebraska has added several transfers this offseason, including Rollie Worster, Andrew Morgan and Connor Essegian.
