Water main break shuts down part of A Street in east Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A water main break shut down a part of A Street early Thursday morning in east Lincoln.
Around 7:20 a.m., the Lincoln Transporation and Utilities Department said A Street between 52nd and 56th streets was closed.
It’s unknown when the road will be reopened.
City officials recommend drivers take 48th Street to South Street to 56th Street as a detour.

If you’re headed out on your morning commute, the recommended detour is 48th Street to South Street to 56th Street.
