Lincoln High community honors five of their own buried at Normandy

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln High School community honored five Lincoln High alumni Thursday who are buried at Normandy American Cemetery in France.
A tour group of 48 students, teachers and parents traveled to France to pay their respects on the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
History teacher Brian Goodbrake brought sand and soil from Lincoln High for the students to rub on the headstones.
