LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A lemonade stand in Lincoln has been raising money for more than a month to build an inclusive playground at Mahoney Park.
The lemonade stand raised over $3,700, with an additional $1,300 donated by the Autism Family Network.
On Sunday, kids involved with the lemonade stand presented their check to the Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department at Mahoney Park.
The new park is expected to break ground this summer, with hopes of completion by the end of the year.
