We’ll still be above average for Friday, but not by much. We get back in the 90s on Saturday and approach 100 on Father’s Day.
There is a level 1 and 2 “Marginal” and “Slight” Risk for much of Nebraska, especially the western half of the state.
Above is what our latest StormCast weather model is saying the radar will look like Friday night into early Saturday.
The threat for tornadoes is small and mainly confined to SW Nebraska into NW Kansas and Colorado.
Large hail is also possible for the western half of the state.
The wind threat is highest in western Nebraska, but some of that wind may make it into eastern Nebraska very early Saturday morning.
