Lincoln man sent to prison for sexual assault

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A 49-year-old Lincoln man was sentenced to prison on Wednesday for sexually assaulting and choking a woman last year.
Jeff Dolberg got 21 to 36 years in prison for first-degree sexual assault, assault by strangulation with a prior conviction, and four other felonies.
With credit for time served, he could be eligible for parole in 10 years.
On June 2, 2023, a woman reported that Dolberg sexually assaulted her at a home in central Lincoln.
He also choked her twice for 10 to 15 seconds, according to court documents, to the point that she couldn’t breathe.
Last month, a jury found him guilty on all counts.
