Lincoln Police investigating after a man was stabbed multiple times

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) —Lincoln Police are instigating a reported stabbing that occurred Sunday afternoon.

Police say they were called to the 2000 block of Worthington Avenue shortly after 1 p.m. on reports from neighbors that a man had been stabbed multiple times. Officials say the man had stab wounds to his chest along with other areas.

The victim named a potential suspect who police say fled the scene.

The victim is said to be in critical but stable condition.
