Voter turnout tops 2016 Presidential election in Nebraksa

In an election season filled with "vote" reminders in every social aspect of our lives, turnout was expected to be high

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Voter turnout in Nebraska topped 73 percent, more than the 71 percent from 2016.

Lancaster County had more than 76 percent turnout. Arthur, Blaine, and Boone counties had the highest turnout, all topping 88 percent. Platte County had the lowest turnout at just more than 44 percent.

There are 1,267,366 registered voters in Nebraska. Nationwide we know 137,802,862 people have voted, with 86% of the vote in.
