Near normal temps Friday; really hot for the weekend

We are going to see highs on Friday very close to normal, which is right around 90 degrees.

We will start the day near normal, as well, with early morning temps in the middle 60s. We’ll warm up quick, though.

Most of Nebraska will be dry on Friday, but by Friday night, parts of western Nebraska may see an isolated storm or two.

After the near normal day on Friday, the temperatures jump up quite a bit. 100s are on the way!

Because of the potential heat over the weekend, a Heat Advisory has already been put in place for parts of western Nebraska. More Heat Advisories are likely by the weekend.

The heat wave will be relatively short lived. 80s for highs comes back by the middle of next week.
