LFR crews respond to gas leak in south Lincoln neighborhood

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Several Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews responded Wednesday morning to a gas leak in south Lincoln.

The leak was reported around 9 a.m. near 37th and Van Dorn streets.

LFR said a gas line was struck while crews worked on a water main.  A video on the NOW Local News App shows a part of LFR’s response at the scene.

The area was shut down as LFR worked to address the leak.  A Channel 8 reporter also saw a Black Hills Energy team on the scene.
