Pair of projects to close two Lincoln streets

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department on Monday announced that a pair of projects will close two streets in Lincoln.

On July 29, 84th Street from O to Van Dorn streets will close for a Lincoln on the Move street improvement project.

The intersection of 84th and A streets will also be closed to through traffic on A street.

Access to homes and businesses in the area will still be available.

The project is expected to be completed by Aug. 9.

LTU also announced that South Cotner Boulevard from Sumner to 48th streets will close Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to noon for a tree removal project.
