LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Year two of the Fred Hoiberg era is off and running.

Nebraska dominated McNeese State, 102-55, to open the 2020-21 season on Wednesday. The Huskers never trailed in the game.

Six players in double figures led the way as the Big Red shot 50 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from 3-point range.

Nebraska takes on Nevada on Thursday, Thanksgiving, at 1:00 p.m. to tip-off play in the “Golden Window Classic”. The game will be aired on the Big Ten Network.
