A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is in place for north central Nebraska through midnight and northeast Nebraska through 2:00am, July 30, 2024.

Storms are most likely in north central Nebraska Monday evening. See below for what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing.

Heat then becomes the main area of concern on Tuesday. A Heat Advisory and Excessive Heat Warning is in place through Tuesday into Wednesday.

Temperatures will be in the triple digits Tuesday with a heat index nearing 110 degrees.

This heat will last for the next few days.
