Two teens injured in crash with school bus in Bellevue

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two teens were injured Monday morning in a crash with a school bus in Bellevue, police say.

The crash involving a school bus and Nissan Altima happened around 7:20 a.m. at Galvin Road and Harvell Drive.  It’s unknown what led up to the crash.

There were no students on the school bus at the time, police said.  The driver — a 79-year-old woman — was not injured.

The driver of the Nissan, a 17-year-old girl, and the passenger, a 15-year-old boy, were taken to a local hospital.

Police say the boy is in critical condition and the girl suffered minor injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.
