Nebraska football gets 16 points in AP Top 25 Poll

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska football received a handful of votes in the AP Top 25 Poll on Monday.
The Huskers didn’t receive a ranking in the top 25 but received 16 points in the preseason poll.

Nebraska hasn’t been ranked in the top 25 since 2019. The Huskers lost the No. 25 spot after a disappointing loss to Colorado early on in the season.
Six other Big Ten schools — Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Michigan, USC and Iowa — are ranked in the top 25 this season.
Nebraska faces Ohio State, USC and Iowa this year.
The Huskers are opening the season against non-conference opponents UTEP, Colorado and Northern Iowa.
