Local sock shop thrives amid pandemic
With more people working from home this year, many are turning to comfy clothes instead of normal business attire.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Jilly’s Socks ‘n Such near 40th and Old Cheney isn’t letting the pandemic stop them from serving the people of Lincoln the coolest socks around.
With more people working from home this year, many are turning to comfy clothes instead of normal business attire. Although the store is open for in-person shopping, they have moved a lot of their sales online and are even offering curbside pickup.
“We have actually done really well this year, not as many small businesses have been able to experience that and we are lucky to have had that experience,” Whitney Rein-Miller, an employee at Jilly’s said.
Jilly’s has socks for every person, no matter what the occasion.
“We had some socks around graduation time that were talking about the class of 2020 and quarantine, which were fun,” Miller said. “And then have had some Christmas ornaments that talk about 2020, a year to forget.”
Jilly’s Socks ‘n Such said, it’s so important now more then ever to shop locally and support our Lincoln small businesses.
