Gas truck crashes south of Lincoln, spilling about 100 gallons
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A gas truck rolled over Thursday evening south of Lincoln.
The crash was reported just after 6 p.m. near 54th Street and Bennet Road near Roca.
About 100 gallons of gas spilled out of the truck, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
The spill was mostly contained to the road and the ditch, where the truck ended up, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies think the driver was intoxicated.
He was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
