LFR extinguishes porch fire at northeast Lincoln home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Several Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews battled flames at a northeast Lincoln home.

Around 11:50 a.m., crews were sent to the home near North Cotner Boulevard and Adams Street.

LFR said the fire started on the back porch, but crews extinguished the blaze before it spread to the home.

A user of the NOW Local News App shared a video showing several LFR engines at the scene.

The cause of the fire and the total amount of damage is unknown.

No one was injured in the fire.  A portion of North Cotner Boulevard was shut down as LFR responded to the scene.
