Two injured in fiery crash in southeast Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash in southeast Lincoln.

Police said an SUV ran through a stop sign at 84th Street and Rokeby Road about 3 p.m.

The vehicle hit another SUV, and both caught fire, according to the Lincoln Police Department.

A drone video sent to the NOW Local News App showed water on the road after firefighters put out the flames.

Police said two people were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The driver who violated the stop sign was ticketed, according to LPD.
