Homecoming heroes: Lincoln Lutheran rolls past Doniphan-Trumbull

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The power of homecoming prevailed Friday night as Lincoln Lutheran beat Doniphan-Trumbull 39-20

The Warriors’ offense started fast, going into half time with four touchdowns and leading the Cardinals 28-14.

Quarterback Ethan Ballard was having a tough night passing for the Cardinals, but Lincoln Lutheran quarterback Braxton Glines was on a different level.

The Warriors added to their score first in the second half with a field goal, making it 31-14.

Doniphan-Trumbull’s lone touchdown in the second half came from a rushing touchdown by Oscar Prochnow.

Ultimately that effort wasn’t enough as Lincoln Lutheran brought home a homecoming win.
