South Sioux City capitalizes on road trip, trounces Lincoln High

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – South Sioux City went on the road and beat down Lincoln High 43 – 9 on Thursday at Beechner Athletic Complex.
Lincoln High dug themselves a hole early with back-to-back penalties, giving South Sioux City a chance to get rolling.
After a nice drive with a couple of big plays, Sioux City got to the goal line, and handed the ball off to running back Tony Palmer for the first touchdown of the game.
Lincoln High then turned the ball over inside their own 20 yard line, and South Sioux City didn’t miss their chance to capitalize on it, scoring their second touchdown of the game with Lucas Sulzbach making it 15-0.
Lincoln High finally got on the board with a field goal, but South Sioux City scored again via quarterback Dj Helms with 6 minutes left in the first half.
South Sioux City kept it rolling, taking home what looked like an easy victory.
