New school zone speed limits begin Wednesday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Lincoln Transportation and Utilities announced that new school zone speed limits will begin Wednesday around five schools.
The 20 mph school speed limit will be enforced when children are present or when indicated by a school zone flashing beacon. The first five schools and affected streets include:
- Humann Elementary
- St. Peter Catholic
- Roussea Elementary School
- Dawes Middle School
- St. Patrick Catholic School
