Several Lincoln streets to close this week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Several streets across the city will be closed this week, officials said Monday.

Northbound 40th Street at D Street closed Monday for water main repairs, according to the Lincoln Transportation and Utilites Department. Officials said that work will be completed by Oct. 16.

West Old Cheney Road between South Folsom and Southwest 12th streets will close Tuesday for storm sewer work. This project will also be completed on Oct. 16.

Eastbound Pioneers Boulevard between 40th and 44th streets will close Tuesday for wastewater service installation. The work is expected to be completed by Oct. 15.

Seventieth Street between Travis Drive and Bridle Lane will close from 8 a.m. Wednesday to 7 a.m. Thursday for railroad track repair.

South Street between 40th Street and Normal Boulevard will close on Wednesday for pavement repairs. This work will be completed by Oct. 25.
