Lincoln Christian fends off Aurora at home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Crusaders hosted the Huskies in a close battle Friday night, prevailing 30-21.

Lincoln Christian got on the board first with a Truman Paulsen touchdown.

But the Crusaders failed to get the 2-point conversion.

Booker Scheierman threw a dart to wideout Canon Allen for an Aurora touchdown.

The Huskies were up 7-6 at the end of quarter one.

But Lincoln Christian’s Asa Wegrzyn found a hole and shot through like a cannon to give the Crusaders the lead in the second.

The Blue and White held on to win and move to 5-2 on the season.
