Venue set for Tim Walz rally; RFK Jr. will stump for Trump in Omaha

LINCOLN, Neb. — The details of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s trip to Nebraska have been finalized.

On Friday night, the Harris-Walz campaign announced that the vice presidential candidate will hold a rally at SumTur Ampitheater in Papillion.

The rally will start at 5 p.m. Saturday, but doors open at 2 p.m.

Attendees must register ahead of time.

This will be Walz’s second rally in the Omaha area. The Nebraska native spoke at The Astro in La Vista in September.

The campaign of former President Donald Trump will also be coming to the Omaha area on Saturday.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard will speak at the downtown Omaha Hilton at 6 p.m.

Both campaigns are competing for the electoral vote in Nebraska 2nd Congressional District, which Democrats won in 2008 and 2020.
