Lincoln East takes down Omaha Bryan for its fifth win of the season

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln East Spartans took care of business Friday as they took down Omaha Bryan 28-8 at Seacrest Field.

The Spartans got out to a fast start, taking an early 14-0 lead via two rushing touchdowns by the end of the first quarter.

East did the same in the second quarter, getting two touchdowns and taking a 28-0 lead into the break.

The Bears got a late touchdown in the fourth quarter to avoid getting shut out for the third time this season.

The Spartans held the Bears to just 177 total yards, with 0 yards through the air.

Lincoln East will finish the regular season against Lincoln Southeast next Friday.
