Two people injured in east Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two cars collided in east Lincoln on Wednesday afternoon, causing heavy damage.

The crash was reported about 1 p.m. on 84th Street south of A Street.

The driver of a northbound vehicle lost control on the wet pavement, according to the Lincoln Police Department.

The car collided head-on with a southbound vehicle, police said.

Two people were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

LPD said the driver who lost control was ticketed on suspicion of negligent driving.
