LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln man will spend five years in prison for selling methamphetamine.

Maurice Bryant, 39, was sentenced Thursday in federal court for possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Confidential informants bought meth from Bryant twice in March, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

On April 2, the Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force searched his home and found about 59 grams.

Authorities said Bryant admitted to buying and selling meth in the Lincoln area.

After he is out of prison, Bryant will serve four years on supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.
