LPD identifies man killed in downtown Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police have identified the man killed Saturday morning in a downtown Lincoln crash.

John Hagle, 57, was heading east on O Street when he crossed the opposite lane, hit a curb and crashed into a tree.

Police said Hagle was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The crash shut down a part of 12th and O streets for several hours during LPD’s investigation.

Investigators are unsure if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
