Man injured in downtown Lincoln rollover crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Fire & Rescue responded Tuesday afternoon to a rollover crash in downtown Lincoln.

The crash happened near 16th and L streets around 12:10 p.m.

A westbound SUV entered the intersection just as the light turned yellow, according to a Lincoln Police Department crash report.

It was struck by a northbound pickup truck, which ended up on its side.

The driver of the pickup, a Lincoln man, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

He was ticketed for violating a red light, according to the crash report.
