LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Troopers say they found multiple meth pipes and seven firearms in a Lincoln apartment Thursday — all within a child’s reach.

About 8 a.m., the Nebraska State Patrol was searching an apartment near 20th and Garfield streets as part of a drug and weapon investigation.

Investigators found numerous glass pipes and bongs and other drug paraphernalia, according to court documents.

Many of the items contained meth, an arrest affidavit says.

Troopers said they also discovered two revolvers — one of which was loaded — under the bed.

And investigators found five shotguns and rifles — including a loaded 12-gauge — in the bedroom closet, according to the patrol.

Five of the firearms were stolen, authorities said.

A 4-year-old child was in the apartment, and the affidavit says all the drugs and guns were accessible to them.

The state patrol said Logan Bomer, 39, was trying to sell the guns. As a felon, he is banned from possessing firearms.

Bomer was arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a controlled substance.

His bond was set Friday at $500,000.

A woman in the apartment — 34-year-old Jessica Dipaolo — is charged with possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a controlled substance.

She is being held in jail on a $100,000 bond.

The 4-year-old was placed in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.

Dipaolo is due back in court on Jan. 15, and Bomer has a hearing scheduled on Jan. 29.
