Affidavit: Omaha man found passed out in UNL women’s dorm bathroom

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – An Omaha man was found passed out in the women’s restroom of a University of Nebraska-Lincoln dorm hall Friday evening, the affidavit says.
Campus police was called to the University Suites on 17th and R streets just after 6 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found 44-year-old Johnny Gardner passed out on the floor of a women’s bathroom.
According to the affidavit, Gardner had an active ban on all of UNL’s campus property.
Officers searched Gardner’s pockets and found a glass pipe that was coated with methamphetamine, according to the affidavit.
Gardner was lodged in the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
