Three injured in two-vehicle crash outside of Waverly

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two pickup trucks collided just north of Waverly on Monday afternoon.

The crash was reported shortly after 1 p.m. at 141st Street and Waverly Road.

A westbound Chevy Colorado ran a stop sign, according to the Nebraska State Patrol, and hit a northbound Chevy Silverado.

All three people inside the pickups were taken to a Lincoln hospital, the patrol said.

Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
