Fog possible overnight, freezing fog possible early Tuesday
A Dense Fog Advisory is in place for parts of central and eastern Nebraska through early Tuesday morning.
Visibility may drop to around zero early Tuesday morning.
With the added moisture very close to the surface and temperatures below freezing early, some freezing fog will be possible. Untreated surfaces may become slick.
If you’re not seeing fog, mostly cloudy skies will be likely through Tuesday morning. The sun will come out by the afternoon.
As we head through the week, the Christmas holiday period of time is looking mild with the freezing fog potential early Christmas Eve then a rain chance the day after Christmas.
Rain will be possible Thursday, Friday, and Saturday but temperatures are on the way up.
