Four people arrested after armed robbery, pursuit in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Four people were arrested Friday night after an armed robbery and pursuit in Lincoln.
A 42-year-old man from Chapman said he had picked up three men in his white GMC Terrain, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
Just after 9:15 p.m., they stole the SUV outside of Mum’s Liquor at 22nd and O streets, police said.
While all were seated in the vehicle, one of the suspects told the victim he had a weapon and to get out.
LPD said once the victim got out, the three suspects drove off, later picking up a fourth suspect.
Officers found the vehicle near 27th and W streets and started a pursuit, according to LPD.
The driver violated multiple traffic laws and drove through residential areas at 65 mph, LPD said.
Officials said the pursuit ended at 59th and Holdrege streets, and all four people were taken into custody.
One of the suspects was in possession of 1.3 grams of cocaine and bank cards that belonged to the victim.
Halona Bearkiller, 27, was lodged in the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of robbery, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person and fleeing to avoid arrest.
Rosemary Hart, 33, and Michael Miller, 36, were both lodged on suspicion of robbery.
Rodney Phillips, 39, was arrested on warrants.
