Court docs: Two teen girls were repeatedly sex trafficked at Omaha hotel

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Six people accused in a sex trafficking operation in Omaha appeared in court Thursday for the first time.
Three of the defendants will be held without bond. A judge set bond at $5 million for two others and at $10 million for one man.
Court documents say a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl were being sold for sex at the AmericInn near 13th Street and Interstate 80.

Police said they were investigating a report of a theft at the hotel when they found the girls.
Investigators said 36-year-old Eduardo Perdomo and 24-year-old Alfredo Zambrano-Hurtado trafficked the girls from Denver to Omaha.
The minors were first in Omaha from Dec. 16 to Dec. 23, then were brought back on Jan. 3, police said.
Perdomo got them a room at the AmericInn and placed ads for them online, according to arrest affidavits.
They were sold for sex to “numerous” men, the documents say, and the money was split between Perdomo and Michel Martinez-Gonzalez.
Investigators said Martinez-Gonzalez also communicated with the sex buyers.
Police said the traffickers also made the girls have sex with hotel staff in exchange for a free room.
Two hotel employees — 23-year-old Sumit Chaudhari and 26-year-old Kavankumar Patel — were arrested on suspicion of first-degree sexual assault of a child.
Another employee, 31-year-old Vishal Goswami, is accused of giving money from Patel to the traffickers with the knowledge that it was for sex.
All six defendants are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 19.
