Car ends up on roof after crash in south Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A car ended up on its roof after a two-vehicle crash in south Lincoln on Wednesday.

It happened at the intersection of Old Cheney Rd. and Hunts Dr. around 6:45 a.m. That’s just west of the Warlick Blvd. and Old Cheney Rd. intersection.

Police said one person was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The road was closed for about two hours during the investigation, but it has since been reopened.

LPD did not say what caused the crash or if anyone was cited.
