Police seek driver involved in hit-and-run at Grand Island Hy-Vee

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)—The Grand Island Police Department is looking for help in finding a driver who was involved in a hit-and-run last month.

In a social media post Thursday, police shared photos of a “vehicle of interest” in the crash investigation.

The injury hit-and-run happened on Dec. 23 around 6:20 p.m. in the Hy-Vee parking lot, according to police.  The extent of the victim’s injuries is unknown.

Anyone who might have witnessed the crash or recognized the vehicle is asked to call police at 308-385-5400.

People can also anonymously submit tips through Grand Island-Hall County Crime Stoppers by calling 308-381-8822.
