Wind aids three-car fire at east Lincoln car lot
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Crews battled a three-car fire Friday afternoon at a used car lot in east Lincoln.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue was called to the intersection of Vine Street and Cotner Boulevard just before 2:45 p.m.
A video sent to our NOW Local News App shows firefighters putting out the blaze, with portions of Vine St. blocked off.
The owner of the dealership told Channel 8 one of the cars sparked when he tried to turn it on.
Strong winds caused the fire to spread to two other cars, according to the owner.
LFR said the total damage caused by the fire is yet to be determined.
