Two-vehicle accident in north Lincoln sends car through fence

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A two car accident in a north Lincoln neighborhood Sunday caused one car to go through a fence.

Just before 2 p.m., several first responders were sent to the Highlands neighborhood near Northwest First Street and Highway 77.

A Channel 8 reporter on the scene said one car was still in the street, while the other was about 50 yards away in a fence.

Video sent to our NOW Local News App shows the two cars and the damage that occured.

The Lincoln Police Department said the driver of the car in the fence was helped out of the car by Lincoln Fire & Rescue, but nobody was injured.

Officers said the cause of the crash is yet to be determined.
