Interstate 80 back open after semitruck crashes into median near Shelton

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Eastbound Interstate 80 was closed near Shelton Sunday afternoon after a semitruck crashed into the median.

Nebraska 511 reported the crash on X just before 5 p.m.

The Nebraska State Patrol said I-80 eastbound was closed at Shelton, and was only open to emergency vehicles.

The interstate was reopened just before 6:45, the state patrol said.

Only minor injures were reported, according to the state patrol. The cause of the crash is unknown.
