250-plus exhibits at this year’s Nebraska Builders Home and Garden Show

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska Builders Home and Garden Show is holding its 53rd show this weekend at the Sandhills Global Event Center.

The garden show is housing over 250 vendors, including, spas, home builders, home remodelers, financing, banking services, flooring, landscaping, window supplies, food and options for in-home improvements.

Beau Daffer, former president of the Home Builders Association of Lincoln, said each year, the vendors get more creative and interactive in their displays.

“It’s a great place if you are looking for a remodel, looking for a roof, or a landscaper,” Daffer said. “You can come and have one-on-one conversations with the people doing the work for you.”

Aside from vendors, the garden show will also have a wildlife exhibit, face painting and a balloon artist for the kids.

Interior and residential designs by high schoolers will also be on display during the show.

The garden show will continue through Sunday. All kids 12 and under can get in free of charge, and admission is $10 for adults.

“Here you’re going to see everything from food vendors to maintenance opportunities,” Daffer said. “We have a little bit of everything for you.”
